Review of Nubar Iced Licorice

Today I have Nubar Iced Licorice for you. I know I have been doing a lot of Indie polishes lately, but I got this polish and I just had to share it with you, it's such a great color!

This is a lovely mauvish plum color packed with gold mini flakes. I really enjoyed wearing this polish and tons of compliments on it. Now I did add some nail art to it which I will show you at the end of the post, but I kind of wish I would have just left it alone!

I have on 2 coats of Iced Licorice. And I did not have any dragging, dripping, or any other issues with this polish.  It went on like a dream and dried wonderfully!

And here is my slightly questionable nail art.  I do believe that I really need to start practicing my nail art some more!!

Here are some places you can find Nubar:
Facebook and their webpage.

I hope you enjoyed this post and come back again soon to see what else I have in store for you.  Have a wonderful day and don't forget to smile, you never know whose looking :)

Holiday Collection review for monsterlacquer! Deck the Halls, Rudolph, Tinsel, Jolly Holly, and White Christmas

Today I will be showing you another lovely Christmas collection, this one is from monsterlacquer.  The colors in this collection are Deck the Halls, Rudolph, Tinsel, Jolly Holly, and White Christmas.  I will start with Deck the Halls which has a clear base with mini silver, red, and green glitters along with blue mini bar glitters and large red hex glitters.  I have 1 coat of it on over "My Kind of Nude".

I didn't have to fish for the glitters. It was a little harder to get the big red hexes, but I just put the lid on the bottle and gave it a bit of a shake and that seemed to work pretty good.

To me the blue mini bar glitters make it look more like a really great New Years polish, but that is just my opinion :)

In the  close up here you can see that there is pretty even application with no fuss. I didn't have to try to place the glitters. I just brushed it on and moved to the next nail.

The bottle shot!

Next I have Rudolph for you, which has a clear base packed clear full of mini red glitters. Here I have 1 coat on over Love My Nails Manhattan Red on the index middle and pinkie fingers, over Sally Hansen Emerald City on the ring finger, and over "My Kind of Nude" on my thumb. Then I also have it pictured over Gosh Gold with 1 coat on all fingers, except the ring finger has 2 coats.

Here it blends right in over Manhattan red and stands out nicely over Emerald City.

Looking radiant over "My Kind of Nude". This is a great Christmas red!

Here is the close up over Manhattan Red. I didn't have any issues with this polish what so ever. It went right on.

Standing out greatly over Emerald City. (Sorry that it looks like I didn't do clean up, but I did it just wouldn't come completely off.)

Here it is looking so very gorgeous over Gosh Gold, with 2 coats on the ring finger.

Bottle shot!

Now we have Tinsel, which has a clear base packed full of silver mini bar glitters.

Here I have one coat of Tinsel over Sally Hansen Emerald City.  This is another great Christmas glitter.

Here is the close up of the thumb! I didn't have any application issues at all with this polish, no fishing for glitters, no dripping or dragging or any other problems.

Bottle shot! (Obviously all the sparkle freaked my camera out a bit)

Next up is Jolly Holly, this one has a pale frosted grass green base with red, blue, and silver mini glitters in it. A perfect mix of holiday colors for a wonderful Christmas polish.

I have on 2 coats of Jolly Holly with no undies. I didn't have any issues with dragging, dripping, or fishing.

Bottle shot!

Last but definitely not least, and my absolute favorite from this collection: White Christmas.  This has a creamy white base with different sizes of red and green hex glitters.

Here is the close up of the thumb. I didn't have any issues with this polish either. The larger glitters are a bit harder to get on but I do think that's because I have a mini bottle, I've always found it easier with the large bottles. But obviously it still looks AMAZING.

The bottle shot!! I really love this polish! All the glitter really stands out nicely in the creamy white base.

If you would like to find monsterlacquer here are some places to check (making your stalking needs easier!):

I hope you enjoyed this beautiful Christmas collection and found some new colors that you just need to have! Please come back again soon to see what else I have in store for you.  Have a wonderful day and don't forget to smile, you never know whose looking :)

The up close thumb shot. Here you can see the nice green tint to the base and the shininess from the metallic glitters.

The bottle shot!

Next up is another great glitter polish: Campfire Glow which has a tinted orange base packed full of gold glitter.

Bottle shot! The gold freaks my camera out just a bit.  This is a great fall colored polish that you could wear over another color if you wanted to spice it up!

Review Kawaii Nail Lacquer in Blue Sky

Here I have for you Blue Sky made by Kawaii Nail Lacquer.  Blue sky has a lovely light blue jelly base with metallic blue mini and small hexes and shredded glitters, along with mini iridescent glitters. This is a great blue polish that any blue addict should have :)

Here is the great bottle shot. And here I have on 2 coats of this wonderful blue polish.

Here is the thumb shot! I will tell you that I didn't have any problems with this polish. There was no fishing for glitter it just came out on the brush and went on the nail, so there was no glitter placement either.

There was no dragging or dripping, so the formula is good. Sometimes, depending on the brush dip you do get more glitter sometimes. Which just adds to the uniqueness of the polish.

Mentality Nail Polish Review of Elation, Rapture, Euphoria, and Holo

Alright today I have some very wonderful holographic polishes for you made by Mentality Polish.  I will be showing you Elation, Rapture, Euphoria, and Holo. They are all wonderful polishes and I did not have any application issues with any of them.  They all went on like butter, no dragging or dripping or anything else of the sort.  They have wonderful dry time and are opaque within 2 coats.  They have some of the best holographic sparkle that I have seen around. I absolutely love these polishes. I am super happy that I decided to get them all!
So I will start off with Elation, which is a beautiful light blue sparkly scattered holo that has some turquoise and pink undertone sparkles in the shade.

Outside in the shade. And this is with 2 thin coats.

Here is an in the sun shot. Where you can see the lovely holographic sparkle.

Thumb shot at one angle in the sun and you can see the great sparkle that this polish has. And the wonderful blue color that it is.

But this shot is even better! This one really shoes the great holographic sparkles and all their goodness! Absolutely love this!

Here's another in the sun shot from a different angle.

A little bit closer. And on the index finger you can see the pink standing out a bit. So pretty!

Last but not least for this color, the fantabulous bottle shot!

Next up is the very lovely Rapture, which is a gorgeous copper sparkly scattered holographic. There really aren't words to describe how beautiful these polishes are!

This is in the house in the shade and you can see all the gorgeous sparkles of the base color itself and the great holographic tones.

A wonderful in the sun shot showing all the different colors and tones to this fantastic color. This is also 2 thin coats.

This color is just so beautiful! (I do apologize for the very poor state of my cuticles! Please forgive me!)

It's just so great!!!

There's a beautiful thumb shot.

Look at the great glowing effect that this polish has!

The beautiful bottle shot!

Now I have Euphoria for you, which is a lovely gold with some copper sparkle that is a scattered holographic. It's kind of a great champagne color. I really love this.

This is again only 2 thin coats. This is in the shade in my house. It has a wonderful sparkle in the shade.

Look at that great gold/champagne with gorgeous holographic sparkles.

The awesome bottle shot!

The wonderful thumb shot!

Last but definitely not least is their spectacular holographic topcoat. Which makes any polish a great holographic color!

In the regular light of my house. This is over Wet n Wild Wet Cement which is a light grey color.

Here it is in the sun. Look at all that great holographic sparkle!

Here it is over Wet n Wild On a Trip. All of these only have one coat of Holo. This is in the regular light of my house.

Here it is in the sun and you can really see all the great holo!

Holo over I Need a Refresh-Mint in the normal light of my house.

For some reason in the sun it makes the base color look a bit more green than normal. But you can definitely see all the great holographic sparkle.

Here is Holo over NYC Lincoln Square Lavender in the normal light of my house.

And last but surely not least in the sun! It's such a great holographic topcoat.

You can find Mentality here:
Facebook, bigcartel shop, or etsy.com.

I hope you all enjoyed seeing these wonderfully spectacular holographic goodies! Please come back again soon to see what else I have for you.  Have a wonderful day and don't forget to smile, you never know who might be looking :)
